OPINION — I live near Surprise. I shop, dine out, take visitors to baseball games and enjoy the arts in Surprise.

I am disappointed that Surprise would host a concentration camp (the regional U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement intake and processing facility that is coming to Surprise).

I am discouraged at the apathy of my neighbors.

The true outsider, in my opinion, is Turning Point USA, with its undue influence on the city administration.

I will take my money elsewhere.
