Why I must vote Republican

As Election Day Approaches

To allow candidates the right to respond to criticisms about their candidacy before Election Day, the last day Independent Newsmedia will publish new election-related letters in our weekly print editions is Oct. 21, and the last day they will publish online is Oct. 27. Candidates may submit a 150-word reply addressing criticisms only and should email them to AzOpinions@iniusa.org along with their name, address, contact number and the headline of the letter they’re addressing.

OPINION — I believe in God, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. I also believe in capitalism, where hard working people can get ahead. Most people of the world don’t have that choice. Many want to come here for that reason.

I don’t believe in 51% rule because the big-population states like California, New York, Illinois, Texas and Florida, would dominate the nation. I do believe in the Electoral College, where 50 states have a voice.

I don’t believe in communism, or democratic socialism, because the government controls everything. Leaders like Stalin, Mao Zedong and Pol Pot killed millions of people in the name of communism.

Some cities and states in the United States are heavily influenced by democratic socialism and are a mess, for example California.

While the Republican Party is not perfect, the Democratic Party is, at the moment, heavily influenced by socialism. In addition, they keep trying to remove President Trump.

Some people influenced by negative rhetoric have even plotted and attempted to assassinate him.

The administration is not only securing our borders but influencing most of the Americas for our benefit.

Iran fanatically wants nuclear weapons, protected by thousands of ballistic missiles. Their slogans are “Death to Israel” and “Death to America.” Our administration says no way.

Past fraud ran rampant with billions in taxpayer money wasted.

We cannot give in to fear and hatred. We must rise above it. We must protect our republic and not let radical ideology of any sort take hold and destroy our way of life.

Please don’t sit this one out. Voting is important.
