Who can we thank for all these signs in Fountain Hills?

OPINION — Friedel, Larrabee and Corrigan seem to love signs!

The sign-lovers want signs all over town, especially in your neighborhood. The Friedel administration pushed through sign ordinance changes that allowed for an explosion of political signs. Have you noticed? And it will get much worse. They also dramatically increased the number and size and location of those gorgeous a-frame signs.

Clearly, your Friedel administration cares little for the beauty of our town that attracted all of us here. But they have come up with a plan for affordable housing by lowering our property values with the ugliness of the proliferation of signs, many with objectionable messages like on the orange and blue signs out there now.

Political signs can now be planted in virtually all town rights-of-way, which means they may be able to place one at the curb in front of your house.

If you want a town government that cares about the total community’s best interests, vote for  Brenda Kalivianakis, Jeff Tate, Susan DeGennaro and Catherine Mirick.
