Vote this November to calm political environment

Sun City West reader supports Greene-Placentia for CD 8

OPINION — Getting old is not a lot of fun, even here in the Valley of The Sun. It is almost daily visits to either my primary physician, cardiologist, urologist, nephologist or neurologist. My pain specialist wants me to go for 20 sessions of physical therapy, but it is hard to schedule these visits around my eye exams and ENT appointments.

I finally had a free day and sat down to watch the news on TV and discovered the president and Congressional District 8 Rep. Abe Hamadeh appear to think I have a fatal personality disorder just because I do not believe anything they say and I will not follow their every whim and fancy.

Most of their dictates are about stolen elections, starting needless wars, the Epstein files, the Big Beautiful Bill and ballrooms, etc.

On the night of the primary election, I took two aspirin and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning I realized I had found the cure for this so-called personality disorder. It was called having a conscience.

For anyone else in CD 8 who wishes to cure themselves of the “disorder,” there is a simple cure. Get out and vote Nov. 3, or do it by early mail-in balloting if POTUS and Abe allow you to do so.

Either way, I urge everyone to vote for Bernadette Greene-Placentia and to calm the political environment. I am sure you will all feel better when you wake up the morning of Nov. 4.

Congressional District 8 includes parts of Glendale, Peoria, north Phoenix, Sun City, Sun City West and Surprise. Please submit comments at yourvalley.net/letters or email them to AzOpinions@iniusa.org. We are committed to publishing a wide variety of reader opinions, as long as they meet our Civility Guidelines.
