OPINION — MAGA folks, tell me why you support Trump. What’s he done to make anybody’s life better (except the morbidly wealthy)? What’s he done that he promised? Fixed inflation? Made anything more affordable? Stayed out of forever wars? Ended wars? Just the opposite. Trump has flouted the Constitution and fleeced us.
Trump disclosed that he made over $2 billion dollars in only 11 months of being president while citizens are struggling to stay afloat. He dealt in crypto, which could allow foreign governments to spend to benefit the Trump family in exchange for military contracts, pardons, policy changes, etc. Purchasers lost huge amounts of money on crypto and his MEME coins while he made literally billions.
Insider trading also appears to be involved as the Trump family purchased various stocks just before the government made a decision, approved a contract, or said something to hike up the price of those stocks. Google it!
This is the most blatantly corrupt administration in history. In 2016 an act of congress set up the official America 250 non-partisan commission to raise funds and organize the 250th celebration of our country’s birth. Then Trump was elected again and in 2025, through an executive order, established Freedom 250 which took over and, not having to abide by congressional rules, proceeded to divert funds from the official account to Trump’s own account.
And, not having to divulge funding sources, we can’t know if foreign countries donated? We only know that Turning Point and White Christian nationalist groups did and the emphasis suddenly became a celebration of Trump and Christianity instead of our country’s birthday and its beautifully diverse and rich culture with religious freedom for all. The great experiment!
Don’t let Trump make this America’s last year as a democratic republic. He’s almost there! Defend the Constitution and our vote!
