Trump and his Jan. 6 pardons
OPINION — Nearly 100 Jan. 6 rioters have been rearrested. Almost 100 Jan. 6 rioters Trump pardoned were rearrested. The charges range from possession of child pornography to sexual assault, child molestation and aggravated kidnapping.
The pardons emboldened people to commit more crimes or make people believe they won't face any consequences “as long as what they do is in service of Trump's aims." It's extremely difficult that this is a reality in this current administration.
Even more difficult to accept when Trump is trying hard to compensate rioters with a $1.8 billion slush fund.
This is our president! This is who you fly your flag for.
