Three’s a charm for Sun City voters

Resident lauds organizations that stepped up to host election locations

Posted

OPINION — Hooray! Three Sun City Maricopa County election locations were available for 2026 Primary voting, after several years with none!

Thank you to Faith Presbyterian Church, Banner Health Warren D. Ruff Building and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for providing convenient voting options in Sun City for eligible county residents to exercise the fundamental right and responsibility to vote as engaged citizens.

Interestingly, the Recreation Centers of Sun City, due to liability concerns, declined providing a voting location at any one of their eight centers. Sun City West voters cast their ballots at a single location: the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center.

Much appreciation to the three Sun City voting location hosts that stepped up! See you in November!
