Sun City reader agrees RCSC should update bylaws

Posted

OPINION — May I add my two cents’ worth, i.e. experience, to Ken Litwak, who shared about efforts to acquire a Sun City privilege card for his companion?

My husband and I have a trust but because I am a beneficiary, and the deed to the house does not have both of our names on it, I, too, had to purchase a yearly privilege card and was told the same thing about the archaic bylaws, which may have been understandable in the 1960s and ’70s but certainly not in this day and age.

The only thing that we and innumerable others can think of is that it is a great money-maker?  It certainly does not make sense otherwise and I would love to hear the Recreation Centers of Sun City board’s explanation.
