It happens every election year — candidates campaign signs get destroyed, and this year is no different.
Someone ruined the candidates’ signs for numerous electoral races along Hayden Road between Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Redfield Road and Scottsdale Road. But unlike the incidents in the past, it doesn’t appear this one can be blamed on the opposition.
The vandals took down the signs of both Democratic and Republican candidates, piled them up and drove rebar through them all.

“Signs and postcards do not tell how a candidate will vote on an issue. We need real information regarding their feelings and how they weigh the feeling and needs of the community.” — John P.
