Gilbert Public Schools seeks voter approval for $136M bond

A/C unit could be very expensive Roofs too. Building repairs and maintenance. School security is more cameras and monitors. I am voting no anyway. Sorry kids. The parents need to encourage their kids to learn. The buildings? They look nice to me. — Doug R.

ALL bond money MUST go ONLY to what is specified in the bond. It is the law. You can easily check to make sure the finds are being spent on what was specified in the bond. It is all public record. If you think that the bond funds are not being spent on where they are supposed to, then I challenge you to get the records and prove it. — Brad E.

Dignity Health adds advanced robotic surgery systems in Gilbert, Chandler

It's wonderful. They already had robotics, but this will add another layer of precision, improve healing time on applicable procedures. While I hope I don't need it, it's nice to know they have it! — Cathy S.

I think it is the way of the future, will make your procedures more precise and predictable, there is always a human involved, I would trust it completely. The availability and cost of surgeries will decrease as soon as usage of these tools become more readily accepted. — Ig T.

Gilbert native serves with Navy unmanned squadron

The technology is getting more scary every day.  The Terminator is right around the corner.  That said, Go Navy! — Lloyd H.

This tech is moving in the right direction but notice that modern warfare is favoring much smaller and cheaper drone technology.  It is literally smart toys disabling tanks, refineries, etc. — Richard R.
