OPINION — Soccer funnies: What will Donald Trump do at this year’s FIFA World Cup? 

After a British football (soccer to USA) club won the cup last year, Trump appeared on stage during the trophy ceremony, started stealing the show and was asked to leave.

What’s next?

One of television’s funniest comedies is the 1972 sketch, “The Philosophers’ Football Match” by Monty Python. It can be seen on YouTube, and I recommend reading the Wikipedia article before watching the show to get all the jokes.

It’s a great parody of philosophy and sports. Although some may argue it’s really satire, who cares? Like all great satire or parody of humanity, it’s timeless, and funny.
