Reader disagrees with ICE, Surprise facility opponents

OPINION — I read the opinions of Dudley Gibson, Chris LaHaie and Lori Lux, and I disagree with their positions.

First of all, ICE would not even be necessary if the previous administrations, both Democrats and Republicans, had secured the borders as the law is written. But because the past administrations failed, and especially the Biden administration, we have a major illegal immigration issue.

I lock my doors. Not to keep me in, but to keep undesirables out.

There are a lot of Americans available to take jobs that some of these people come to America to take because the Americans that don’t want to do those jobs are sitting at home taking taxpayers’ money.

If I were in charge of ICE, I would call Sheriff Joe Arpaio to build tent cities as temporary detention centers. Day-old bread with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Legal immigration is good. Illegal immigration is wrong and against our laws, and lawbreakers need to be punished, not rewarded.

I pray that all illegal immigrants are deported today! I believe that would also change election fraud. I am angry, not at the current administration for doing the right things and doing things right.
