OPINION — Arizona has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to elect a conservative governor who will fight for our values in the West Valley and deliver results for our entire state. Andy Biggs has shown he has the experience, the character and the vision to Restore the American Dream in our state and help Arizona reach its full potential.
While only serving in my first term at the Legislature, it didn’t take long for me to see Katie Hobbs is simply not up to the task of leading our state. From her three vetoes of a $1.4 billion tax cut to her opposition of legislation that would make our state healthier and protect our medical freedoms, Hobbs has been a roadblock to Arizona getting back to growth and prosperity.
She has attacked the rights of parents and tried to take away the educational choice that so many Arizona families depend on for the unique needs of their children. She’s failed to responsibly manage our water and she remains under criminal investigation for a pay-to-play scheme benefitting a political donor instead of protecting bureaucrats and kowtowing to special interests, Andy Biggs will stand with Arizonans first.
As a former state Senate president, he’s written multiple conservative state budgets that cut taxes and put our state on strong financial footing. He’ll defend school choice, he’ll protect the medical freedoms of Arizonans and he’ll invest in public safety to keep communities in the West Valley safe.
Andy has laid out a clear ethics and transparency package to show the specific steps he’ll take to root out corruption, protect taxpayers, and keep foreign interests from impacting our elections.
Now is the time for West Valley conservatives to unite and coalesce behind a proven conservative leader. Please join me in supporting Andy Biggs for governor.
Incumbent Rep. Lisa Fink is seeking re-election in Legislative District 27, which includes parts of Glendale, Peoria and Phoenix.
