Hamadeh should learn definition of ‘communism’

Posted

OPINION — At a recent town hall, our Congressional representative Abe Hamadeh characterized the nearby protesters as "communists."

The definition of communism is: “a political and economic philosophy advocating for a classless, moneyless and stateless society. All major means of production — like factories, farms and resources — are publicly owned rather than privately held.”

Can he identify any protester that advocates this position?

However, there is a Republican that has invested taxpayer dollars in at least 20 companies. That would be Donald Trump. He, personally, invested or used tax dollars on behalf of the U.S. government to acquire an ownership interest in at least 20 U.S. companies, including Intel, U.S. Steel, Westinghouse Electric and IBM.

A U.S. representative should know this.

Abe Hamadeh represents Congressional District 8, which includes parts of Glendale, Peoria, north Phoenix, Sun City, Sun City West and Surprise.
