OPINION — As a West Valley resident, I support U.S. Rep. Abe Hamadeh’s reelection because he has focused on results here at home.
His office has closed more than 600 constituent cases and helped return nearly $2 million to local families. That kind of help matters when people are stuck with federal agencies.
He also secured federal funding that directly serves our cities: a police helicopter for Peoria, new patrol vehicles for Surprise, radio upgrades for Glendale officers and veterans legal assistance at Arizona State University. These are practical tools for public safety and those who served.
Luke Air Force Base is central to the West Valley. Hamadeh has pushed for reliable air conditioning there, worked to protect the base’s leadership and stayed engaged with the airmen who train fighter pilots in our backyard.
Growing communities also need someone who shows up for local priorities — from tax relief that helps West Valley families and businesses to infrastructure, such as a new post office in Peoria.
Hamadeh has delivered for our community, and I am happy we have someone fighting for the West Valley.
Rep. Abe Hamadeh is running for reelection in Congressional District 8, which includes parts of Glendale, Peoria, north Phoenix, Sun City, Sun City West and Surprise.
