Gilbert keeping Flock cameras as council members weigh crime-fighting benefits, privacy

By taking this position publicly, the Town of Gilbert has just opened the door to a flood of privacy act violations. There is too much evidence of abuse to deny that the possibility exists in Gilbert (and may be happening right now) and without action to remove the cameras and the stored metadata the town is ripe for hackers and "others" to take full advantage of the opportunity to collect a very large settlement check. — Roy C.

Where to get cheap gas in Gilbert

Here we go again, and if you’re in Maricopa County, it’s always higher than any other county. It’s a shame that our elected officials are in the same bed with the oil companies , but if you notice some of the people who are up for reelection are saying that if they get elected, they will drop gas prices. Yeah, sure!! They have been in office for years and haven’t done anything about it. Oh yeah, I have oceanfront property in eastern Arizona, too. In some other states, their regular is just over $3. It’s so ridiculous… — Emilio A.

If you have a Costco, that's where I'd go. They survey local prices and adjust theirs accordingly. Otherwise I'd go to Fry's or Safeway. When you shop there, you get points toward gas discounts at their pumps. — Robert M.
