Posted

OPINION — Here are some of the comments we received on our Oct. 3 story "Where are some of this week's lowest gas prices around Chandler?"

"I have friends in California where gas is $6 per gallon."
—Alan M.

"Cheaper than Maricopa."
—Bruce M.

"$4.50 in Superior, AZ, over the last weekend."
—Mike K.

"That's pretty high. I went through Ohio yesterday and paid $3.79 at an Ohio turnpike rest stop. They don't tax the gas near as much."
—James F.

"Not surprised, with a Democrat governor."
—Dean T.

"It is awful. Gilbert gas prices are 30 cents less."
—Robin F.

"Winning bigly."
—Bruno C.

"Thank this president. People who voted for him are also to be thanked for our higher gas prices. Btw, the higher cost of gas increases everything else we consume and I find it absolutely unacceptable."
—Lea B.

"AZ gas prices are always amongst the highest in the country ... We live in an extremely greedy state."
—Joe B.
