Building on what makes Paradise Valley exceptional

Posted

OPINION — For more than a decade, my wife Kristin and I have proudly called Paradise Valley home. Like so many residents, we chose this community because of its unmatched beauty, quiet neighborhoods, mountain views, and exceptional quality of life. Today, preserving what makes Paradise Valley special is why I’m running for town council.

Paradise Valley faces growing pressure from overdevelopment, increased density, traffic congestion, and proposals that threaten our mountain views and open space. We need strong leadership that will protect the special community we cherish and never compromise our quality of life.

My commitment to this community goes beyond this campaign. I have served as a Paradise Valley Police Volunteer, chairman during COVID, a member of the Board of Adjustment, and currently on the Planning Commission, helping guide responsible land-use and development decisions that protect the town’s quality of life.

Service has always been central to my life, whether through local involvement or organizations like Boy Scouts of America, Flights for Life, Angel Flight West, Young Eagles, and Pilots for Paws, reflecting a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and helping others.

As former CEO of Brown Community Management, I’ve built and led a successful Arizona business grounded in accountability, leadership, and results.

I support responsible development — but only when it respects the character of Paradise Valley and benefits residents. Every project should be evaluated based on resident impact, long-term value, and fiscal responsibility.

We must continue investing in public safety, infrastructure, roads, landscaping, and stormwater improvements while practicing responsible budgeting and greater transparency with residents.
Paradise Valley’s future should be guided by common sense, community values, and resident-focused leadership.

I would be honored to earn your vote for Paradise Valley Town Council. Early voting begins June 24 and Election Day is July 21. You can learn more at BobBrownforPV.com.
