OPINION — It’s time to vote. Too bad most campaign promises come out of expediency, not honesty. One party attempts to serve and protect the American public; while the opposition’s sole platform is to condemn and “fight” back.
The recent past is highlighted by an illegal alien influx seemingly manufactured by the Biden regime that was inhumane to the migrants surging across the southern border and the legal citizens that are forced to endure the continuing strain on the economy.
Inflation during the Biden administration averaged about 6% per year. The rate of inflation has stabilized around 3.3% per year. Prices for goods and services never go backwards. Affordability is offset by increasing incomes and lowering taxes.
People want to have paramount trust in their doctors, judges and lawyers. Seeing unethical behavior in medical professionals and in court proceedings is eroding that trust.
Dr. Fauci appeared neither honest or fair-minded in his reign as the king of science. Fauci allegedly hid known truths and embellished misinformation contributing to public fear and chaos. No doctor has done more harm to the public trust.
Attorneys used the bureaucratic power of lawfare to indict and prosecute the victims they saw holding contra-political affiliations. These unprecedented persecutions caused undue suffering and expense for their targeted victims. A good portion of those persecuted have been exonerated. Some of the prosecutors resigned their position or remain under investigation for their past actions.
The fair application of law cannot have duplicitous outcomes. Sworn officers of the law cannot make arbitrary or capricious rulings based on political circumstances. Blocking the legal deportation of illegals to reach outcomes that favor a political affiliation is causing public alarm and discord.
Before you vote consider this liberal-socialist prediction: “Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy and life has never been better.”
