Baldenegro wants to keep getting things done for Glendale

OPINION — I have been asked why I should be elected back onto the City Council.

The answer is simple. I am a regular guy doing the job that many politicians say only a politician can do ... and they are wrong. In fact, I’m more focused as a regular guy because I don’t have lofty future plans or goals in politics.

I have worked with residents, business owners, outside agencies and city of Glendale employees to tackle the concerns and issues that were presented. Whether it was traffic speeding through the neighborhood or veterans finally getting their medals or sponsoring events to help bring back the public during construction, I was there to help.

I’m a quiet, “behind the scenes” kind of guy who doesn’t require the attention and recognition others in my position require. People want to work with me because I’m a nice man who helps get things done. I have the support of the community (residents, businesses, city employees) and they all look forward to helping me to make the Ocotillo District even better.

I was born and raised here. I didn’t move here and pretend I know everything there is to know. The most important thing is that I’m here to stay. Thank you.
